The Oregonians Mobile App is safe because it uses the same SSL-encrypted communications as Online Banking uses in a browser; therefore, it has all of the same protections you are accustomed to when using Online Banking on a computer. As an additional security precaution, the inactivity time-out period feature will automatically log out from the server when you are no longer using the app. It is always a good idea to only use known, trusted network connections when accessing financial information from your laptop or from your mobile device.
