If you're looking to get your first mortgage, FHA loans are ideal if you don't have a big down payment. These loans are insured by the Federal Housing Administration, and they tend to provide very competitive rates. Down payments may be as little as 3%. Oregonians CU does not offer FHA loans at this time.
