What's a FICO score?

A FICO score is one type of credit score, the other type is VantageScore. They are both credit scores.

The FICO score algorithm was developed by the Fair Isaac Corporation. The score ranges from 300 to 850. It's calculated using details from your credit report, such as payment history, amounts owed, and length of credit history.

A higher score indicates a lower risk to lenders and can help you qualify for better interest rates and credit limits.

We don't use FICO score in our lending/underwriting decisions. We use VantageScore.
