Credit unions are a simple concept. Pool your money together for the best rates and services, without having to answer to outsiders. From Aloha to Albany, Portland to Prineville, we’ve been Oregon’s credit union since rocks were young (aka 1936).
There are a lot of great credit unions. But only one Oregonians. If you can find a better credit union, join it.
Who can join
You can join us if you live, work, or attend school in an eligible county. Related to a current member? You can join, too.*

What you need to join
- Government-issued ID or passport, with current address
- Social Security Number
- $10 opening deposit
- Current physical and mailing address
- Date of Birth
*Qualifying members of the immediate family includes grandparents, parents, spouse, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, siblings, half-siblings, aunts, uncles, and domestic partners of an Oregonians member in good standing.

Community involvement

As Oregonians, we’re invested in the communities that make up our great home.
Scholarships
The Oregonians Scholarship Program awards three $2,000 scholarships each year. There’s no minimum GPA to apply, and it doesn’t matter where you’re at in your education journey. The program opens every March.
2025 Annual Meeting
All Oregonians members are welcome. Meet our Board of Directors, our CEO, and some of our other executive leaders and staff. We'll reflect on 2024 and discuss plans for the future.
The Annual Report summarizing the prior year debuts at each Annual Meeting. For example, the 2024 Annual Report will become available at the 2025 Annual Meeting.

Governance
As a not-for-profit financial cooperative (AKA a credit union), Oregonians is governed by a Board of Directors elected by members. Board members are unpaid volunteers.
